  2. I'm still not sure this sounds good....lol...but one day will try your recipe

    How about this one:

    Crusty Italian Bread

    1.5 T yeast
    1.5 T kosher salt
    3 c water at 110degrees F
    6.5 c AP Flour

Add water to yeast and salt, stir, wait a couple minutes and then add all the flour.
Stir until all of the flour is incorporated.
Cover and wait at least 2 hours/up to 5 hours.

    Divide into quarters.
    Shape on floured board.
Place loaf(ves) on parchment paper. As you let them rise, heat oven to 400 with pizza stone on middle rack. Under stone, place an oven proof dish with water.
    Let stone heat 20 minutes.

Put dough on stone and bake for 25 - 30 minutes.

  4. Here's a yummy one that's quick and easy:

    Pineapple Delight

1 store bought angel food cake
1 sm pkg vanilla instant pudding
    1 can crushed pineapple

Cut angel food cake in the middle making two laywers. [OOps typo... that's two layers]

Put vanilla pudding and the can of pineapple [including the juice] into a bowl and whisk till it gets thick.

Spread a layer of pineapple mixture on the middle layer of cake. Put the top layer on and spread remaining mixture on top. Looks pretty if you garnish with strawberrys.

Refrigerate for 1 hour. You do have to keep this cake refrigerated... if it lasts that long.

    Enjoy - Marlene D
