Hi Everybody,
We had some brilliant Cards / Projects for the Challenge last week, we all thought that they were splendid, very colourful. They showed us that you really took part in the 'Use Something Recycled' Theme. Again it was wonderful to visit all of your Blogs, they were so inspirational. Once again, we would like to say we really appreciate the time you spend creating and entering in our Challenge. Again, make sure you tell your friends about our Challenges and also tell them about the Stamp-n-Doodle website.
We have now decided that if you enter using a Stamp 'n' Doodle Digi/Stamp then your entry will be counted twice, so you get double the amount of Winning!!!
Now, on with the Winner of last weeks 'Use Something Recycled' as picked by random.org. The Winner is ................

Well let's get on with this week's Challenge.
Now, as previously mentioned it's time to introduce this week's Challenge from Stamp-n-Doodle, this week we're doing something different, we have picked a Member of the Design Team and let them pick the theme.
This week it's the turn of Lisa
I am a wife, a mother of one beautiful daughter, and one sweet kitty. I am also a crafter of many hobbies, paper crafting being my favorite.
So this weeks Challenge is:
'Wet Embossing'
This Challenge is quite easy, all you need to do is complete a Card / Project that follows the Theme. It can be anything remember for example, Cards Scrapbook Layouts, Boxes, Bags, Tags, 3D Creations and maybe even Jewellery.
How to Wet Emboss
What I would like everyone to do was to heat emboss on the actual digi image!!! Sounds strange, I know because when we usually heat emboss we do it with a traditional rubber or clear stamp and an embossing ink pad or Versa Mark Ink pad. There are two ways that you can Heat emboss on a digi image, this is what I did with the card above. I used what is called a versamarker
This marker has the same ink in it that the Versamark Ink pad has. It is a sticky ink that embossing powder sticks to. It has two tips on it, a brush tip and a small tip. You simply color with it on the area that you want to emboss, in my case it was the black cat and I used Clear embossing powder. So, you color the area to be heat embossed, sprinkle on the embossing powder and heat set with a heat gun. Simple as that.
Now, the other method of heat embossing is the same as if you used a stamped image, you would simply stamp a versamark ink pad directly on the entire image after you have colored it and cut it out, and then add your embossing powder, heat set with your heat tool, and you are finished. You can do this with 3 or 4 layers if you like, put it into the freezer to dry, then bend it little to create cracks and give it an antique look. Use Clear Embossing powder for this method as well.
