We had some brilliant Cards / Projects for the Challenge last week, we all thought that they were splendid.  They showed us that you really took part in most recent Challenge which was 'Distressed'.  Again it was wonderful to visit all of your Blogs, they were so inspirational.  Once again, we would like to say we really appreciate the time you spend creating and entering in our Challenge.  Again, make sure you tell your friends about our Challenges and also tell them about the Stamp-n-Doodle website.

And some Words about Her:

My name is Jacki and at the time of writing this I am 43 years old. My childhood and early adult life was not a happy one but that story is for another day I started making cards after I had an accident at work. Basically it has left me with noise sensitivity severe pain in both ears Tinitus and dizziness.   I needed something to do so a friend got me into cross stitch.  So while browsing the cross stitch magazines I came across the card making ones and was intrigued as to how you make them so I brought a couple of magazines and that's how I got started and now I am hooked. I am married to Phil who is a wonderful man and puts up with all my stash being everywhere.

We have to say some goodbyes again, we have marvelled at Anne projects, she was only with us for a short time, but she is going for a big operation on her heart, we want to wish her well and maybe in the future she may come back to us.  We are also saying goodbye to Karen, Karen's projects have been so brilliant in the past, but she has come to the conclusion that there are other things in her life that takes precedence.  So she has to say goodbye to us, let me take this opportunity to say thank them for all their hard work and to wish them well in all that they do.

Well, it's not all about goodbyes, we have a Hello.  We have got to say hello to Tracey, you might recognise Tracey from her time on the team last year.  So let me take the opportunity to say, Welcome Back.

The only other thing that I have to say, is that we had a position of Assistant DT Co-ordinator to fill, I am pleased to say that Jill in Bali has taken the position.  So good luck Jill.

'Lauren Curtis Spotlight - Anything Goes'

Who is Lauren Curtis!  
Lauren offers her digital stamps for sale through Stamp-n-doodle.com

Lauren was graduated with a BFA from Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University, in 1988. She enjoys working in a variety of media, including oils, acrylics, pen & ink, watercolor and photography. The artist is happiest when creating pieces that represent her love of nature, wildlife, mythology and travel. Lauren has had artwork published by greeting card and crafter companies, magazines and historical organizations. Her work has been displayed in private collections, healthcare centers and galleries and was selected for a solo exhibit at Johnson & Johnson World Headquarters, July-August, 2009. She was a featured artist on the Science Channel‘s TV show Oddities this season and has done radio interviews as well. Lauren has participated in over 95 solo, group & juried exhibitions and is also a member of several NJ Arts organizations. Her artwork has been sold throughout the US and abroad, and can be seen in venues in NJ, NY, MA and PA
